Tackling global challenges with data

Through Data4Change programs, the Cloudera Foundation collaborates with nonprofit organizations to build their data engineering capacity through direct access to technology, data expertise, and technical support. We meet nonprofits where they are in their data journeys, overcome challenges, then push forward together.

A new philanthropic model

"Our goals in these efforts are to help our partners accomplish their immediate objectives AND make progress toward becoming data-driven organizations, which requires so much more than competently using a set of technologies and analytical approaches."

“Our bet was that big data and machine learning could help mission-driven organizations change the world — that we’d make them even better at delivering social impact. That’s why we created the Cloudera Foundation. Three years later, that bet is paying off.”
